The craft beer craze continues to grow as breweries seem to be popping up all over cities in the United States. How does a craft beer set itself apart from the others? Simple. It has to be damn good! We compiled this list of five different craft beers we think are taking over Midwest America in 2016.

1. Rhinegeist Truth IPA

ABV: 7.2%

IBU: 75

By far the most popular craft beer offered by Cincinnati based, Rhinegeist Brewery. A lot of people might find themselves intimidated by the 7.2% ABV, but this one honestly goes down so much smoother than you’d expect. And that’s the truth!

2. Bell’s Oberon Alebells-oberon

Based out of: Kalamazoo, MI

ABV: 5.8%

For those who can’t get enough of the classic ‘Blue Moon with a orange slice garnish’. Bell’s Oberon Ale is the one for you. This beer taste about as colorful as it looks! With this much drink-ability, it’s no surprise we’ll be downing these ones all summer long.

3. Lagunitas ‘Little Sumpin’ Ale

ABV: 7.5%

This beer is really something, or should I say ‘sumpin’! Boasting a whopping 7.5% ABV, Lagunitas has struck gold when it comes to making a strong ale that goes down well. The best part about this beer is it tastes great no matter the season!

4. MadTree Psychopathy IPA

Based out of: Cincinnati, Ohio

ABV: 6.9%

IBU: 70

Another heavy hitter coming from the bustling metropolis that is the greater Cincinnati area. MadTree Brewing Co. is perhaps best known for its cleverly named, Psychopathy. This one’s a little less bitter and alcoholic than the previously mentioned, Rhinegeist Truth, but it’s every bit as good!

5. Left Hand Brewing Co. Nitro Milk Stout

ABV: 6%
