The Truman Heritage Festival in Grandview, Missouri, is an annual event with three days of fun for the whole family. The League City Music Festival & BBQ Cookoff in League City, Texas, is an annual event held at Walter Hall Park. Two newer additions are the Safari Run, a race through a two-mile obstacle course, and a Karaoke Showdown.

Yaga’s Wild Game BBQ Cook-Off 2017 – May 12th – 13th
Yaga’s Wild Game BBQ Cookoff features a cooking competition across multiple categories including fajitas, seafood, ribs, chicken and of course, wild game. The festival is a benefit for Yaga’s Children’s Fund and offers several activities for kids including the Run Wild 5k, a non-competitive event to promote health while bringing the community together. The Kid’s Area has free arts and crafts, moonwalks and a petting zoo, and live entertainment adds to the party atmosphere.

The Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival makes pit stops in several cities across the US for a palate-pleasing celebration. The one-day event boasts over 60 microbrews on tap, 40 barrel-aged bourbons and succulent, mouth-watering barbecue. Additional attractions include live bluegrass, blues and rock music, a cigar tent and tasting seminars lead by pitmasters, head distillers and brewmasters.

The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in Memphis, Tennessee, attracts hundreds of guests every year who come to celebrate all things barbecue.
